Incheon Airport to KINTEX: a practical route guide for international concertgoers

A practical sequence for checking the AREX and GTX-A rail route, airport buses, the Korean address for KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 and language help.

Direct answer

For the rail route, take AREX from Incheon Airport Terminal 1 or 2 to Seoul Station, then check GTX-A toward Kintex Station. English GTX-A information is not sufficient to lock in a same-day timetable or transfer path, so recheck station signs and route search on the day. If you have large luggage or want fewer transfers, compare the airport's English bus search and a taxi backup.

What to check from airport to venue

1. Confirm your arrival terminal first

Incheon Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 have different AREX access points and bus stops. Confirm T1 or T2 from your flight information before searching a route.

2. Rail route: AREX → Seoul Station → GTX-A

Take AREX to Seoul Station, then check GTX-A toward Kintex Station. AREX Express and All-stop trains have different conditions and schedules can change, so recheck the official AREX timetable on your travel date. At Seoul Station, follow the current GTX-A signs and station guidance rather than assuming a fixed transfer time.

3. Follow signs for Exhibition Center 2 at Kintex Station

If your ticket says Exhibition Center 2 Hall 7, do not confuse it with Exhibition Center 1. Recheck the hall on your ticket and follow event-day entrance signs. For a driver or staff member, show the Korean address below exactly as written.

4. Recheck airport buses if transfers are difficult

Use Incheon Airport's English Bus Search for KINTEX or Goyang, then verify the route, actual stop and boarding point at your terminal. Do not assume that a bus stops at Exhibition Center 2 Hall 7 unless the result explicitly says so.

5. Ask 1330 if you need route or language help

The Korea Tourism Organization's 1330 service offers an online call and chat without requiring an app download. Check available languages and connection status on the official service page.
